In accordance with its role as a pivotal institution for local culture, Gongju National Museum provides various programs for social education. If you would like to get more information about our educational programs, please contact the Curatorial Department at 82-41-850-6365.
The Children’s Museum School is open on Saturdays from April to November. The program offers classes for children to learn about and experience important cultural properties in Korean history.
The program for adults is held every last Wednesday of the month. Lectures on humanities include various topics on history and culture.
The program for the whole family takes place every Saturday. Participants can observe and study about cultural properties and -- through simple experience-oriented programs -- better understand cultural properties.
Taking place every May, the contest invites children who wish to draw or sculpt using clay after observing the cultural properties on display. Participating children can freely express their ideas and feelings about cultural properties.
